I would describe myself as a petite, intelligent, and athletic woman who navigates her way through life's ups and downs with a positive, forward thinking attitude. The first fifty years of my life were pretty stress free:  no significant illness, financial security, more than adequate time for self-care, and a very supportive circle of family and friends.  It seems that the flood gates opened to situations that have tested my strength in the past few years.  I embrace all that I have learned and  the ways in which I have grown but "smooth sailing" would be really nice.

After my divorce, I wanted to understand why my marriage failed. The search for my own answers eventually led me to the Relationship Coaching Institute. Not only did I find the answers to my questions, I found a coaching niche I am passionate about.

I love to engage in physical activity. I have been running, jumping, climbing, and biking since childhood. I have competed in marathons for 34 years and recently started ultra-distance trail running. I started adventure racing in 2001 (my first team sport). I have been lifting weights for 17 years and became a Certified Personal Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach in 1997. I believe that my physical strength and endurance are paramount to the success I have achieved in other aspects of my life.  I credit my physical strength and endurance for my escape during a rape attempt.  I believe that the discipline and perseverance I gained from physical training made my recovery from a broken neck more tolerable and accelerated the pace of recovery.
